TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
COMMITTEE

The following responsibilities for the Training and Development Committee serve as guidelines for committee operation. These guidelines are subject to change as situations may warrant.

  1. Review all printed training and development materials at RI and bring it up to date.
  2. Create new materials that are needed.
  3. Maintain records of training and development test completions.
  4. Promote training and development materials to members. Coordinate committee efforts with other committees and liaisons that may be effected.

The Level I REACT Emergency Communications training manual is available online for members to download free of charge.  This program is similar to that offered by ARRL to its members, but has been expanded to include additional materials regarding other radio services (including GMRS, CB, FRS, and MURS, in addition to Amateur Radio) due to the wide variety of radio services often used by REACT Teams.

The REACT EComm program is available only to REACT members. See the EComm Flyer (Uses Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Reader) for more information about the Emergency Communications Training and Certification Program.  REACT Members should send e-mail to IWantEComm@reactintl.org for information about downloading the manual online.

For additional information, please contact the Training & Development Committee at the e-mail address above. Changes and additional information will be published as it becomes available.

Do you enjoy two-way radio communication?  That is the single, most important prerequisite to membership in an organization with Teams in every state of the United States.  But, it doesn't stop there.  Our name "says" and we "are" an international organization [please visit our Team/Council Contacts page for additional information].

About the Adobe PDF Reader:
