Membership in REACT is no different than any other adventure ... the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Membership in REACT includes the following benefits:
An additional benefit is team involvement. By design, a member is always part of a team. Teams provide a support network for solving radio problems, getting feedback for ideas, and helping the public. Many teams/councils provide web sites with lots of good information regarding upcoming events, meeting information, links to other teams and agencies they cooperate with, and much more. Membership in REACT offers opportunities. In additional to the many web sites, many REACT teams provide training, publish newsletters, and participate with emergency service agencies. Want to expand and seek opportunities on an international scale? Volunteers are always needed to assist the RI International Committees and it's easy to get involved. REACT needs members who can be relied upon in times of emergency. These members must be willing to set an example for those of the radio communication community who are not familiar with our organization.

REACT is an international organization and when we do things, it's on a global scale. Keeping everyone informed is always a difficult task. Each issue is filled with the latest news from Headquarters, reports from various Teams/Councils around the world, radio tips, upcoming deadlines, up-to-date Convention developments, and lots, lots more. Team coverage plays a major part of each issue, and team members are always asked to send a picture along so it can be included. RI uses all means of media available at its disposal. In addition to this web site, internet e-mail, personal visits, postings to newsgroups and of course .... two-way radio communications, REACT publishes and mails The REACTer absolutely free to all members. Publication efforts to keep the contents timely, interesting and informative are the responsibility of volunteer members. Some of the articles and information that have appeared in past issues will be available in the near future. The REACTer in
