Some e-mail software has an "auto-reply" feature where
an acknowledge is automatically sent when an incoming e-mail message
is received. If you correspond regularly with someone having an
auto-responder, it can become an irritation. However, this can
be used to the marketing advantage of a team/council.

RECOMMENDATION: Many auto-responders have a notification
option that will also notify an e-mail address when an incoming e-mail
has been received. The auto-reply message goes to the sender,
and the sender's e-mail address can be forwarded to a team/council
member for follow-up.

Board Idea -
I stopped into Office Max (an office supply store) last night. Project Board
by Hunt [mfg] is 36" x
48" open and 36" x 24" folded [the 2 end flaps fold
inward]. Product (part) number is 730-205, made of 2 ply
corrugated cardboard [so it's fairly sturdy], comes
in 2 colors black and white. Folds flat so it can fit into any
space. Cost: $6.19 [MN].
You should be able to put about 4
pictures down and 4 across with room for captions. Can be used if your team does a display
-- inexpensive
but sturdy.
RECOMMENDATION: Take pictures of your members in
action although a news article or 2 is acceptable. The public
likes to see action. "One picture is worth a thousand
